About Karen

I grew up with a dog, rabbit, fish and hamsters.  I have always loved animals. I had an Arab gelding for several years and am very comfortable around horses and ponies.  I have a strong interest in both chickens and bees and I can tend them while you are away too.

I volunteered for the Ozaukee Humane Society from 1988 to 1995 where I gained experience with cats, small animals and learned much about animal welfare. I was involved in dog obedience classes and taught basic obedience classes for the Ozaukee Humane Society.

In my adult life I have had four dogs, three of whom were adopted from humane societies. I also have had a guinea pig, parakeet and still have lots of different tropical fish.

I have a deep passion and love for animals and believe in giving them the high quality care they deserve. My standards for pet care are high and I look forward to providing this same quality care for your pets.

Jessie, Tassie and Jordy

I started my business in 2012 after my husky and spitz mix passed on. Jessie the husky was one month shy of 16 years and Tassie the spitz mix was just over 15 years old. I went full time into pet sitting in April of 2014. I adopted Jordy from the Wisconsin Humane Society / Ozaukee campus in September of 2013. Sadly, Jordy died from an aggressive form of cancer when he was about ten years old.
